Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

  2. Prepare Potatoes: Peel the potatoes and cut them into fries of uniform thickness. Rinse the cut potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch. Pat dry with paper towels to ensure they bake crispy.

  3. Season Potatoes: In a large bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  4. Bake Fries: Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.

  5. Add Parmesan Cheese: Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and immediately sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the hot fries. The residual heat will melt the cheese slightly and help it adhere to the fries.

  6. Garnish and Serve: Transfer the Garlic Parmesan Fries to a serving dish and garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and extra flavor. Serve hot and enjoy!
