Banoffee pie has gooey toffee, Each mouthful combines crisp graham crackers and a banana. A tiny bit goes a long way with this exceptionally rich and delectable dish, yet everyone who tries it adores it. 

What Is Banoffee Pie?  

 

Banoffee pie iis a British dessert made with banana slices, whipped cream, and a caramel sauce. The original recipe, created in 1971, is attributed to the owner and chef of Hungry Monk Restaurant in Sussex. Its name is a combination of the words “banana” and “toffee.” 


 Ingredients


One 13.4-oz can of dulce de leche


1/2 cup of crumbs from graham crackers

 

one-third cup of white sugar


Two tsp finely chopped ginger 


Six teaspoons of melted butter


Three sliced bananas


Half a cup of heavy cream


Three tsp of powdered sugar


shavings of chocolate

Compile the ingredients. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

In a medium bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, white sugar, melted butter, and ginger (if using). Press mixture into a 9-inch pie dish or an ungreased fluted tart pan with removable bottom.
